NUPAS Go Green

NUPAS is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2045 for emissions scopes 1, 2 and 3. This commitment was made on 24^th February 2025 by NUPAS Executive Committee.

This ambitious goal reflects our commitment to significantly reducing our environmental impact by addressing all direct and indirect emissions from our operations, energy consumption, and the wider supply chain. Scope 1 refers to direct emissions from our owned or controlled sources, while Scope 2 includes indirect emissions from the generation of purchased electricity, steam, heating, and cooling consumed by NUPAS. Scope 3 covers all other indirect emissions that occur in our value chain, such as those related to business travel, procurement, waste, and transportation of goods.

This commitment, formally made by the NUPAS Executive Committee on 24th February 2025, signifies our proactive approach toward sustainability. We are actively developing and implementing strategies that will help reduce greenhouse gas emissions, transition to cleaner energy sources, enhance energy efficiency and work collaboratively with our partners and stakeholders to ensure a sustainable future. NUPAS recognises the urgency of addressing climate change, and this long-term commitment reinforces our responsibility to contribute to global climate action and foster a greener planet for future generations.
