How do I know that the abortion has worked?

You will need to take a pregnancy test 3 weeks after your medical abortion. This is to make sure the treatment has worked. We will give you a pregnancy test in your Aftercare Pack. Please use the test we give you, as it is different to tests you can buy in the shops. We will give you instructions on when to take the test. If the test is positive, please call us for further advice.
